Breath Awareness: Secret to Being Present

Breath is life. To meditate upon its presence is to meditate upon our existence. It is the now, the pure essence of the present moment. This awareness is a skill that can be applied to nearly everything we do. The moment we bring our attention to the breath, the power of observation arises naturally. We begin to witness, rather than react, and in doing so, we realise we are always in a state of observation.

When you feel anxious, heavy, or unsettled, pause. Sit down. Breathe deeply. The breath has the power to restore balance, bringing the body, mind, and spirit to a place of ease. It dissolves tension, revealing hidden blockages and allowing prana to flow freely once more. At times, simply witnessing the breath is enough to feel great once more – releasing sadness, opening the heart, and transforming lack into abundance.

Grace is contained within each breath. Whatever weighs you down, whatever sorrow lingers, know that it will pass. As you breathe deeply, allow yourself to feel the quiet joy and peace that arise when you surrender to this flow. You may be surprised at how effortlessly awareness changes your situation, how life itself rejuvenates, simply by recognising the sacred presence of breath.

Pranayama is at the heart of my daily practice. Over the years, I have explored many breathing techniques, but Nadi Shodhana is the one I have always returned to. It’s the practice I start and end my days with – the one that has helped me the most. I’m excited to share this healing and transformative technique with you.

In this course, we’ll explore the science behind classical yogic practices and integrate them into a sustainable routine you can continue at home. Each session will end with Nadi Shodhana and a guided 61-point meditation and relaxation technique for deep restoration.

All props provided for a comfortable and enriching experience.
